Cornish Culture

The culture of Cornwall (Cornish: Gonisogeth Kernow) forms part of the culture of the United Kingdom, but has distinct customs, traditions and peculiarities. Cornwall, a non-metropolitan and ceremonial county of England, a duchy, and a Celtic nation, has many strong local traditions. After many years of decline, Cornish culture has undergone a strong revival, and many groups exist to promote Cornwall's culture and language today.

Here are several links to help you explore, and learn about everything from the ancient stone circles and mine shafts that can be found across the west country, to pasties and clotted cream, to traditional Cornish brass bands and male choirs.
